Jim has been recognized as a leading consultant in fitness for older adults. His column "Senior Health & Fitness" was published in more than 750 markets throughout the U.S. for more than 20 years before he took it to the Internet to reach a broader audience. He was chairman of the Advisory Board of the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) in San Diego for 9 years overseeing the volunteer activities of more than 2,500 senior volunteers, and for 7 years he was host of the popular radio talk show "Forever Young" on San Diego's KCBQ 1170 AM focusing on issues of fitness and quality of life for older adults.
He has been published in dozens of senior newsletters, magazines, and newspapers including Successful Retirement, Alliance Report for Healthcare Strategy & Marketing, Southern CA Senior Life, Senior Life San Diego, Good Age, and many more.
